CHARACTER INFORMATION

Biography: Daniel grew up in Colorado, on a farm near Greeley. He was a pretty emotional kid, and had a lot of ups and downs. He had ambitions to leave Colorado, and was, in fact, studying to become a dancer when he was young. His mother supported him in this 100%, even though their farm was getting poorer and poorer, over the strong objections of his father.

When Daniel was sixteen, he got into a car accident, and his girlfriend at the time was killed. To his surprise, he actually recovered very quickly, and reached emotional equilibrium much faster than the others involved in the crash. Daniel was very lucky and walked away almost without injury; however, after that day, he had a complete personality change. He became strangely charming and easygoing, often unaffected by pain or tragedy.

He majored in biology, and went on to veterinary school, as his father intended him to take over the farm some day. However, from here, in different universes, Daniel's life took very different directions.

For player knowledge only: Daniel, as an OC from Heroes, does, in fact, have a superpower. It manifests itself very subtly, however. He has the ability to control his own emotional state, to make himself feel any way he chooses to feel. Currently, in

after_shanti, he is stuck on a default of calm happiness, as he doesn't know how to control it. However, in

tragedyboundrpg, as well as his general 'canon' universe, he may summon any emotional state he chooses.

'VERSES

Entering farming after his father was easy - he'd mostly taken over management of the farm by the time the virus hit. Despite hard times, they'd barely managed to keep up a living. The virus, unsurprisingly, didn't make that much impact on him. He spent most of the days just afterwards rescuing a lot of local farm animals, and making sure that he could save as much of the plant and animal life as he could. When he subsequently made contact on the network, he didn't see a problem with inviting the rest of the survivors to live in Colorado.

After veterinary school, Daniel realized that he was different. He learned to control his own power, and decided, dispassionately, that being a famer wasn't an interesting enough life for him. He resolved to be better, and, ever since then, ambition is one of the few emotions he keeps on almost all of the time. Today, he heads a crime syndicate with business interests spreading from Arizona to California to Oregon. He believes he chooses to make his home in San Francisco, unaware that he is unable to leave.

Daniel's 'canon' universe mirrors

tragedyboundrpg, with the key difference that Daniel travels often, and places no special emphasis on the city of San Francisco. It loosely follows the canon universe of Heroes, but not very closely, as Daniel has never met any of the canon Heroes characters.
Note: Daniel Buzzetti's name is, in fact, on Mohinder Suresh's list of evolved humans, with his location listed as 'Greeley, Colorado'.

Loosely affiliated with the canon!verse, Safeway is a self-contained storyline with Rachel Conway (
